Kannani-Cats ha Jeruschalmi  About us

Am I the central figure?

Perhaps, if you look at the whole thing from a human perspective.

For my cats I am probably the tall, two-legged mother.

I'm called Doris Pollatschek. My name is not important, and neither is my face.

What is important is what I do with my hands.

I am both a potter and a sculptor.

My cats know that they are not allowed to climb onto my unfinished work. Otherwise, I start to curse.

With finished sculptures this is less important. Would you like to see some of the things I make?

Here are a few examples.

This work is cast in bronze. I also make wall plates which incorporate reliefs. One more look inside my gallery. Then it's time to meet the real central figure.
Our feline lady of the house is Buba. She is the queen mother. Cats which don't obey become acquainted with her claws. She has been spayed and has something against tomcats altogether. They are probably too loud for her.

Buba is not a Kanaani, which is plain to see. Nevertheless, she has played an important role in my breeding programme, which you can read about under the heading

difficulties

. Before you take a look under this heading, however, it would be better to read the section on Felis Lybica first.
